As a CNC Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, collaborating with our talented team of Engineers and Technicians to create unique and limited batches of prototype components. These components are essential for the development of innovative motorbike models aimed at the global market.

Your Role:

Your proficiency in various machining methods and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine machining needs.
  • Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers, utilizing your programming and process expertise.
  • Demonstrate experience with conventional machinery, including lathes, milling machines, cutting, and grinding tools.
  • Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.
  • Manufacture components to exact specifications and tolerances, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery, keeping equipment clean and in peak working condition to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to foster a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of machining operations and materials utilized.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in machining technology to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee cutting tool usage and condition, replacing tools as needed to optimize machining efficiency and precision.
  • Manage material stock relevant to this role and submit re-order requests as necessary.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently with a strong focus on detail.
  • Possess knowledge of 5S practices.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • BTEC or equivalent qualification in engineering.
  • Completion of a formal engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in VMC machining, programming, and machine setup within a similar industry.
