Unlocking Opportunities in Multinational Insurance
AIG's Multinational business is a dynamic area that provides tailored insurance solutions for our global clients, empowering them to navigate their cross-border risks with confidence and consistency. Our Multinational professionals possess diverse skills and expertise, delivering customized, compliant, and seamless solutions that support our clients' risk management objectives.
Your Impact
- Oversee all aspects of multinational service delivery for assigned portfolios, ensuring a superior client experience. This includes:
- Proactive management and oversight of multinational service activities, coordinating communication and project management across internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing direction and guidance to stakeholders across Multinational Business Model and AIG Network to ensure effective design and delivery of assigned programs.
- Offering multinational technical expertise to underwriters to ensure compliant program structures and adherence to local regulatory requirements.
- Leading the promotion and adoption of the AIG Multinational End-to-End process, ensuring all parties understand roles, responsibilities, and expected timelines.
- Ensuring multinational service fee discipline through available tools.
- Managing day-to-day service delivery to ensure timely issuance of accurate local policy and invoice documentation, meeting agreed program SLAs.
- Partnering with Product Underwriters to manage facultative reinsurance panel participants and collect compliant reinsurance documentation.
- Engaging with multinational claims to ensure timely development of claims bulletins/protocols and support on ad hoc program inquiries.
- Collaborating with underwriting to draft legal documentation for loss-sensitive programs and obtain approval from AIG legal counsel.
- Monitoring performance and escalating where necessary to ensure all agreed Multinational service SLAs are met.
- Operating as the senior external service contact, working with Product Underwriters and Distribution to provide regular updates to appointed brokers or clients on program performance.
- Managing and partnering with Distribution to coordinate periodic Multinational client/program stewardship meetings in alignment with underwriting and distribution.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Commercial insurance experience, preferably client servicing (broker or company background)
- Strong technical knowledge of complex multinational programs, including reinsurance structures, with experience in the multinational environment and processes
- Client-focused with experience working with multinational corporations and dealing with senior client personnel/risk managers
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously and on own initiative
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, delegate effectively, and meet tight deadlines/SLAs
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence outcomes
- Ability to motivate others to achieve common goals; proven record of being a team player
- Collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to identify operational improvements and gain technical knowledge/experience to carry out those improvements
- Computer literacy required: IT packages, MS Outlook, Excel, Word
