About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Barclays Bank. As a key member of our Storage Operations team, you will play a critical role in driving the evolution of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Monitor and manage IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
  • Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks, vulnerabilities, and other security threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IT infrastructure requirements, devise solutions, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

  • Provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
