About the Role

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Mechanical Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex and non-routine maintenance activities on mechanical services, including calibration and fault finding.
  • Undertake maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements across the Trust, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Estates Manager to complete surveys and provide technically detailed reports.
  • Provide technical input and guidance to other team members on electrical issues.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade experience, preferably in mechanical/plumbing services.
  • Education to NVQ or equivalent Level 2 qualification in a relevant trade.
  • Health and Safety knowledge and experience with permit to work systems and HTM guidelines.
