Quality Engineer Position Overview

We invite you to consider a role as a Quality Engineer at Mansell Recruitment Group, where you will be instrumental in fostering a robust quality framework within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate a culture of excellence by ensuring adherence to various quality standards and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist all divisions in upholding certifications such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Champion product quality projects in manufacturing, including root cause analysis and corrective measures.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Execute customer-driven quality programs like Total Preventative Maintenance.
  • Formulate operational guidelines to enhance process efficiency.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing workflows, customer needs, and product specifications.
  • Draft and evaluate Quality Manufacturing Plans and PFMEAs for critical products.
Qualifications and Skills
  • HNC level qualification in a relevant field such as Electronics Engineering.
  • Proven experience in quality roles within manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulated environments including ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
  • Expertise in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, CAPA, and 5 Whys.
  • Experience in conducting quality system audits and inspections.
  • Prior involvement in supplier evaluation processes.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary up to £42,000.
  • Standard working hours with potential for flexible scheduling.
