Field-Based Heavy Vehicle Technician

This role is offered by a reputable and expanding Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Company seeking a skilled Field-Based Heavy Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting scheduled maintenance inspections and preparing vehicles for testing as required.
- Performing MOT tests and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Carrying out regular safety checks on heavy goods vehicles to uphold statutory requirements.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and executing necessary repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, services, and repairs in line with administrative protocols.
- Collaborating with team members and management to prioritize tasks and manage parts procurement.
- Providing emergency repair services and breakdown assistance as needed.
- Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in HGV maintenance.
- HGV Class 2 driving license.
- Diagnostic experience is advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
