Logistics Operative - Fixed Day Shift
Location: Measham, DE12 Area
We are currently looking to hire a Flexi Driver with a Valid Licence for our client based in Measham. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive team within a tidy and secure warehouse setting, especially as the company prepares for its peak operational period.
This role is temporary but has a strong potential to transition into a permanent position for the right individual.
Candidates must be comfortable working at heights.
Available Shifts: Morning and Afternoon
Working Hours and Compensation
- £11.44 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 am - 16:30 pm or 07:00 am - 15:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the Flexi Truck as needed.
- Accurately verifying orders.
- Unloading containers.
- Breaking down shipments.
- Picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
- Receiving goods.
- Organizing and storing products.
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the line manager promptly.
- Conducting stock takes (may require some weekend or after-hours work).
- Processing returns.
- Maintaining cleanliness in your designated area.
- Performing general warehouse duties.
Candidate Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Flexi Licence.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Good numerical abilities and attention to detail.
- Organizational skills are a must.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and take initiative.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- Physical fitness is required as the role involves heavy lifting.
