Salary: Up to £45,000

Overview:


Join a reputable legal practice and contribute to a successful team. This position reports to the Head of Residential Conveyancing and involves supporting the management of the team to uphold high standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in guiding clients through the complexities of purchasing, selling, and re-mortgaging properties, including navigating legal matters, financial considerations, and contractual obligations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage property files, both freehold and leasehold, from initial instruction to completion, ensuring all inquiries are addressed, title matters are resolved, searches are conducted and verified, and mortgage conditions are fulfilled.
  • Perform title checks.
  • Draft contracts and accompanying documentation.
  • Verify official copy documents.
  • Communicate with clients, their agents, borrowers, asset managers, solicitors for buyers, internal teams, and other relevant parties.
  • Address post-completion issues and ensure accurate closure of post-completion processes.
  • Utilize case management systems on a daily basis.
  • Oversee client billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Actively engage with agents and brokers to foster new business relationships and generate additional work for the firm.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency with leasehold properties, corporate clients, buy-to-let investments, and portfolio management.
  • Capability to perform under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with a strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills across all levels, embodying a true team spirit.
  • Experience in team management or a desire to pursue a managerial role.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year PQE with a focus on residential conveyancing; or
  • A comprehensive background in residential conveyancing.
