Job Description

Corporate Benefits Specialist, Financial Planning Expert

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Consultant to join our successful Financial Planning team, specializing in managing a portfolio of business owners, companies, and employers regarding their workplace provisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industry and be able to develop and implement effective solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

You will be actively involved in business development activities, working closely with the LLP Payroll and Business Services departments to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The role will extend to all levels of workplace requirements, including employee pension schemes, auto enrolment, group death in service, and income protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct thorough analysis of clients' workplace provisions to identify areas for improvement
  • Design and implement effective solutions to meet clients' needs, including employee pension schemes, auto enrolment, group death in service, and income protection
  • Work closely with the LLP Payroll and Business Services departments to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients

Requirements

  • DipPFS qualified, potentially working towards chartered status
  • Strong commercial focus and experience in a fee-based environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others
  • Confidence in meeting regulatory aspects of the role, providing compliant advice and reports
  • Sound knowledge of workplace pensions, auto enrolment, and group DIS
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • A love of networking to develop the business and team
