Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a Finance Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that dealership financial records are meticulously maintained and updated. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, benefiting from opportunities for professional growth and development within the finance sector.

Candidate Profile

  • Possessing a background in financial support, with proficiency in accounting software and strong skills in MS Excel.
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
  • Exhibiting excellent communication skills, capable of fostering effective working relationships across various departments.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing daily cash banking for the dealership, ensuring all transactions are accurately reconciled and allocated.
  • Coordinating with sales personnel and management to verify that vehicle payments are processed correctly.
  • Conducting daily reviews of cash accounts, collaborating with the Senior Finance Assistant to ensure timely payment of invoices and proper allocation of deposits.
  • Providing comprehensive support to the accounts office, including addressing inquiries from internal and external auditors as necessary.
  • Working collaboratively within a team of both qualified and unqualified finance professionals.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Regional Accountant.
