Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical fitters to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical specifications
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Time-served mechanical fitter with a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering standards/procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and quality standards/specifications to complete set tasks
  • Experience in installing and mounting equipment, such as pumps, motors, and rafts
  • Experience in installing mechanical joints
  • Experience in testing systems, such as pneumatic and hydrostatic
  • CSCS card and experience of working on-site in a heavily regulated environment
  • Gold CSCS Supervisor card and SSSTS is essential for this role
