Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, building, integrating, and providing through-life support to submarine platforms in the Royal Naval fleet.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the submarine systems and products are developed to support the delivery of an appropriately secure and resilient product.
  • Design and implement security baselines, mitigations, and controls to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage security risks following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of MOD policies and regulations, including SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604.
  • Produce RMADS and other security-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security challenges related to operational technologies and control systems.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field or information security.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications, such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Extensive experience in applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
  • Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations.
