Role Overview

The Carbon Services Analyst will work within the Carbon Services Team, providing services across clients' electricity and gas portfolios. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completion and monitoring of clients' Climate Change Agreements (CCAs) submissions to the relevant Trade Association
  • Collation of scope 1 and 2 emissions and completion of SECR carbon emission reports for clients' inclusion in the Statutory Accounts
  • Collation of 3 years of Statutory Accounts and energy data for EII clients and submission to the relevant government department
  • Completion of quarterly and annual returns for EII clients
  • Regular review of Government Relief Schemes and translating into the commercial impact for clients
  • On-going review of the Regulatory and Carbon legislation and Government initiatives to assess the impact on Ameresco clients
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of at least 2 years relevant industry knowledge
  • Relevant degree-level qualification
  • Expertise in data analytics and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and activities
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills

They will be passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy, with good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize work under pressure, and complete within deadlines.
