Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Simpson Strong-Tie. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of shipments and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete shipments using our ERP system and/or tablet, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment, adhering to quality and packaging standards.
  • Receive, stock, and rotate product, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Identify, tag, store, and locate finished inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing lists, and bills of lading, for each pallet/shipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
  • D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
  • 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
  • Ability to operate forklift, reach truck, order picker, and electric pallet jack.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions

This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, and varying temperatures. The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
