About the Role

Energia Group is seeking a dedicated Operations Engineer to enhance our operational efficiency and compliance across our renewable energy assets. This pivotal role involves collaboration with the O&M Engineering Manager to uphold our asset management systems and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of health and safety compliance within the operational team.
  • Develop and refine management systems in alignment with AM ISO55001 standards.
  • Enhance awareness of Asset Management principles and policies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address defects and technical challenges.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for senior management on operational performance.
  • Assist in the transition of new assets into the operational framework.
  • Act as a primary contact for designated projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ensure construction quality aligns with design specifications.
  • Monitor and report on project deliverables and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage risks effectively within the Asset Management team.
  • Support the optimization of operational and asset management strategies.
  • Provide project management support for emerging business initiatives.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with established safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical qualification or relevant operational experience in renewable energy technologies.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills with experience in developing work practices.
  • Project management expertise with proficient IT and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with willingness to travel as required.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55001 standards and experience with asset management systems.
  • Background in technical advisory or asset management roles.
