Position Overview

This is a pivotal moment for Stantec as we continue to expand our operations in Ireland and Northern Ireland. We are actively seeking seasoned Wastewater Network Engineers / Urban Drainage Specialists to enhance our esteemed UDM team across the UK & Ireland.

In collaboration with our partner, we are engaged in significant projects that promise substantial investment in the water sector. Our team is integral to major frameworks that aim to improve wastewater treatment facilities and urban drainage systems.

As a key contributor, you will work alongside Technical Experts, Project Managers, and other specialists to deliver projects that meet financial, scheduling, technical, and quality benchmarks.

Your role will encompass managing multiple small-scale projects or extensive programs for our clients, fostering innovation in service delivery, and developing cutting-edge solutions. You will also be involved in the preparation of project bids and cost estimations.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and coordinating urban drainage initiatives while ensuring adherence to excellence in delivery, technical governance, and best practices.

Candidate Profile

To qualify for this role, you should possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field, and be a member of a relevant professional institution. Previous experience in leading urban drainage projects is essential.

Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be responsible for report writing, delivering presentations, and networking within the industry. Experience in staff management and development, as well as the ability to provide technical guidance to team members, is also required.
