Job Summary:
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Divisional Lead for NMAHP Research and Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and contribute to the development of research and innovation activities within the NMAHP Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align Corporate and Divisional research and innovation activity for the NMAHP and the research workforce.
- Encourage and facilitate NMAHP research knowledge, skills, and potential across the partnership, and support the creation and implementation of provision and policy to enable opportunities for the workforce.
- Ensure that research and innovation activity can show clear benefits to patients, carers, and our workforce.
- Align research and innovation with the Division, Trust's, and OxInAHR strategic goals.
- Participate actively in the Trust's strategic forums to share best practice and align standards with Trust policy, procedures, and initiatives as relevant.
- Conduct a Divisional analysis of highly complex data to inform the research and innovation developments needed based on priorities and risks.
- Work together with Divisional clinical and research leads and Director of NMAHP Research and Innovation to set up clear mechanisms to record, monitor, and measure the outcomes of research and innovation activities.
- Support the development, progress, and sustainability of clinical quality improvement initiatives within the Division, and where needed, take a lead across the Trust and University to share best practice.
- Support increased visibility of clinical practice development activities and outcomes through the initiation, promotion, and support of research activities as agreed.
- Support the integration of clinical research delivery teams within the clinical areas within the Division.
- Maintain own research activity and portfolio through grant applications, conducting and supporting research as a CI/PI, and research dissemination.
- Supervise students doing Doctoral studies and MSc dissertation supervision as required within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
