After School Club Site Manager

Job Summary:

Slingshot Education Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced After School Club Site Manager to oversee our after-school clubs in London Bridge/Borough and East Dulwich. As an After School Club Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our site, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the afterschool club, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently from 3:15 6:15pm on weekdays during term time.
  • Manage and support a team of Group Leaders, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate creative activities or sports/games, ensuring they are engaging and appropriate for children aged 4-11.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for both staff and participants.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a similar setting.
  • At least two years of experience working with children aged 4-11.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for engaging and supporting children, with expertise in creative activities or sports/games.
  • Ability to work after-school hours, 5 days per week.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
