About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Asset Management team for Cables and OHL at National Grid, where you will play a vital role in supporting the journey to Net Zero by developing and deploying new innovative tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of the asset management lifecycle that governs the management of critical assets across the electricity transmission network.
  • Ensure effective, efficient, and compliant asset management practices that meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new asset management initiatives that align with National Grid's strategic objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Business-related subject.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the business.
  • Strong team working skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and roles internally and externally.
