Job Summary: Belcan Technical Recruiting (UK) Ltd is seeking a skilled Wing Build Support Specialist to join our client's Wing Plant Engineering Team.
About the Role: As a Wing Build Support Specialist, you will act as the link between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring co-design solutions that meet the needs of the Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide reactive and proactive engineering support to the Component Delivery Teams (CDTs) to ensure the achievement of their business objectives.
- Support the design definition and communicate industrial requirements into the wider engineering community.
- Provide line-side build support and act as the focal point for any Engineering topics within the Wing Plant CDTs, including root cause analysis investigations into all abnormalities arising from design queries.
- Collaborate with the team to provide proactive product improvement, which supports modifications to reduce Recurring Costs, Non-Recurring Costs, and Non-Conformances throughout the Single Aisle and Widebody value stream.
Requirements:
- Strong engineering background with aerospace experience.
- Structures design experience and CATIA V5 knowledge.
What We Offer: This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of £44 (Umbrella). The successful applicant will be required to undergo security screening and obtain a Basic disclosure certificate on appointment.
