Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and management workflows.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Manage and configure both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Utilize configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chocolatey.
  • Develop and sustain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Containerize applications utilizing Docker and manage container orchestration.
  • Create and maintain scripts using Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Administer SQL and MS SQL Databases.
  • Implement security best practices (SSL, OWASP) across all environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6-12 years of experience in a DevOps capacity, with a concentration on Azure.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Experience with Windows configuration management tools such as Chocolatey.
  • Expertise in Azure services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code implementation.
  • Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management tasks.
  • Proficiency in containerization using Docker.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with SQL databases, particularly MS SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Understanding of .NET applications and their deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with DataBricks is advantageous.
  • Solid grasp of cloud security principles and practices, including SSL and OWASP.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with DataBricks.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Terraform).
