About Us: Brandon James Ltd is a dynamic and close-knit fire engineering consultancy that is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineer to take on a variety of projects across the North of England, including high-profile projects, hospitals, schools, stadiums, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fire Engineering Design: Develop and implement fire engineering designs for complex builds, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Fire Strategies: Create and implement fire strategies for clients, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Fire Hazard Identification: Identify and assess fire hazards in buildings and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Fire Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough fire risk assessments for clients, identifying potential risks and developing plans to mitigate them.
  • Smoke Control Design: Design and implement smoke control systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Code Compliance Reviews: Conduct reviews of building designs and systems to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems: Design and implement fire suppression and fire alarm systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary or consultancy environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
