About the Role
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced vascular surgeon to fill a Locum Consultant position in Vascular Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a general vascular surgical caseload, including elective and emergency patient referrals
- Participate in a rota to care for vascular emergencies, ensuring timely and effective treatment
- Develop and maintain a flexible job plan, incorporating opportunities for teaching and training
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess full GMC registration, FRCS (or equivalent) qualification, and significant experience in general vascular surgery and varicose vein management. Research and management experience are highly desirable, as is a commitment to teamwork and a caring attitude towards patients.
