Cyber Security Strategy Manager

The Cyber Strategy Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the sustainable growth of the Cyber Strategy service area within the UK, supporting the delivery of cyber strategy services to clients in the Financial Services sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead large and complex cyber strategy engagements, overseeing multiple workstreams and managing the delivery of other managers within the team.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships, developing a network and range of experience to address client needs.
- Establish relationships across KPMG's capabilities and global member firms to bring innovation to clients.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and support sales pursuits for Cyber Strategy opportunities, driving business growth.
- Support the development of team members as a performance manager, coaching and developing the team, and promoting a culture of learning and development.
The Cyber Strategy Senior Manager is a senior delivery role, responsible for managing multiple teams or workstreams across multiple clients, including managing other managers within the team.
The role requires high-level stakeholder interaction and challenge, including internal stakeholders such as business development teams, sales teams, delivery teams, technical development teams, Quality and Risk Management, as well as external stakeholders, including client stakeholders and decision-makers.
Requirements- Proficiency in defining cyber security strategies, considering business and technology objectives, and aligning future capabilities to meet organizational needs.
- Experience in designing and implementing Cyber Security Target Operating Models (TOMs), considering people, processes, technologies, service delivery models, governance structures, and metrics and reporting.
- Ability to create business cases for cyber security investments and secure stakeholder commitment to cyber improvement programs.
- Experience in managing the delivery of strategic cyber security programs, including project management activities, stakeholder reporting, and monitoring of delivery outcomes.
- Understanding and delivery experience with leading security frameworks, including NIST CSF, ISO27001:2013/2022, NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), and CMMI.
- Assessing cyber security capabilities against an organization's threat landscape and cyber risk profile.
- Working understanding of security architecture principles, cyber security governance models, and regulatory requirements.
