Position Overview – Senior Analyst in Treasury Reporting

This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of Nationwide's expanding Capital & Credit risk reporting team.

The team plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting standards related to Capital risk and Treasury credit risk. Our primary objective is to deliver comprehensive, precise, and timely reports that assist the Board and relevant committees in maintaining Nationwide's financial stability.

Key Success Factors:

  • Familiarity with prudential reporting frameworks (e.g., Basel III, CoRep, Pillar 3);
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting solutions;
  • Able to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Self-driven with a strong motivation to succeed;
  • Capable of providing end-to-end solutions, analyzing intricate data, and identifying discrepancies or trends.

We are particularly keen to engage with candidates who possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a keen interest in financial or regulatory reporting.

The Capital & Credit Risk Reporting team is part of the broader Treasury division at Nationwide, and this role will report to a Consultant within the team.

In this role, you will initially focus on fulfilling new reporting requirements within a newly formed segment of the team. You will report to a Consultant in that specific sub-team.

Dynamic Reporting Team:

You will be part of a high-output reporting team that requires quick thinking and problem-solving skills to meet all deliverables. Being at the core of the business, you will have the chance to interact with senior management and influence both team and organizational objectives.

Regulatory Reporting Initiatives:

This position also offers the opportunity to engage in regulatory reporting transformation projects, contributing to significant enhancements in our prudential reporting processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of prudential reporting frameworks (e.g., Basel III, CoRep, Pillar 3).
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel capabilities, including xlookup, sumifs, index/match, and graphical representation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven history of delivering high-quality results punctually.
  • Experience in reporting and forecasting, preferably within a banking or treasury context.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive solutions, analyze complex datasets, and identify discrepancies or trends.
