Key Responsibilities- Client Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax advice and guidance to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ad-Hoc Tax Advice: Provide ad-hoc tax advice to clients on their personal tax affairs, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Legislative Research: Conduct research on tax legislation and provide technical analysis to clients on matters affecting various tax issues.
- Billing and WIP Management: Manage billing and WIP for clients, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the wider Private Client Team to identify further advisory opportunities and collaborate with more junior members of the team to delegate efficiently and foster development.
- Professional Qualifications: CTA qualified or ATT qualified, with current completion of CTA or qualified by experience.
- Experience: Prior experience of managing a personal tax assurance portfolio and reviewing tax returns, with some prior experience of dealing with clients with international aspects to their affairs.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, good level of intellectual curiosity, adaptable, organized, and commercial approach, with an understanding of risk management issues.
