Job Summary

The Department of Orthotics at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Orthotist to join our clinical team.

We are looking for a motivated and engaged Orthotist with extensive experience in clinical Orthotics, including spinal, gait, and diabetic management. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of complex patients in all areas of Orthotics, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient outcomes.
  • Assist in the education and training of graduate Orthotists, apprentice Orthotists, and undergraduate students.
  • Contribute to departmental governance, risk management, and policy adherence, ensuring compliance and forward thinking.
  • Engage and participate in departmental meetings, as well as link with specialist clinical groups as required.
