Job Summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our construction and building services projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with our health and safety managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Attend health and safety meetings and provide expert advice on health and safety matters.
  • Support our site teams in all health and safety aspects, including reviewing safe systems of work and conducting workplace inspections.
  • Manage day-to-day health and safety activities on site, including attending safe start meetings and conducting investigations into accidents or incidents.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Technical knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, with experience providing health and safety support in the construction and building services sectors.
  • IT literacy with proficient report writing skills.
