About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at WPO, a leading European platform of renewable energy expert-services. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a large solar farm near Faversham in Kent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose operational management of the solar farm, including overseeing operations and maintenance of all renewable power generation operating assets.
  • Maintain client logs and generate reports using data from various SCADA systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including owners, contractors, landlords, and grid operators.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules and standards.
  • Manage site activities, including induction of staff and third parties, and ensure compliance with planning conditions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of direct experience working in UK solar farm operations or construction.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV technology and experience with battery storage facilities.
  • Ability to review and understand legal contracts, and handle and interpret SCADA data.
  • Excellent organisation skills, working to strict deadlines, and attention to detail.
