Job Summary:

This is a part-time position as a Panel Adviser, working three days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Panels and ensuring compliance with the Fostering Services Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Panels and ensure adherence to Fostering Services Regulations.
  • Develop and implement a training plan for the Panel and the Fostering Service.
  • Provide a weekly clinic for Fostering Staff to receive advice and support with writing and preparing reports.
  • Establish a fortnightly Panel Matters meeting with Team Managers from the Fostering Service and Fostering Reviewing Officers to review decisions and actions.
  • Ensure the Foster Panel can proceed with business and progress to Administrative Decisions and Management (ADM).

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in managing Panels.
  • Thorough understanding of the Fostering Services Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
