Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care to our patients and carers, and will work closely with our hospital and community specialists, managers, and directors to develop and implement excellent care and future strategic directions.

Person Specification
  • GMC Registration
  • GMC Licence to Practice
  • Medical Qualification
  • MRC Psych or equivalent
  • Specialist Register (Subspecialty Old Age)
  • CCT or equivalent
  • Eligible for CCT or equivalent within 6 months of the interview date
  • Higher Degree
  • Diploma

We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our City East CMHT on a full-time or part-time basis. The post holder will be required to work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a £7,500 recruitment and retention premia, which will be paid over the 3 years on top of your salary and a relocation package up to £8,000*. We also offer a range of training and development opportunities, including protected time for research and special clinical interest.
