Job Title: Portfolio Analyst - Risk Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis of portfolios across various business classes, focusing on natural catastrophe, terrorism, and contingency exposures.
  • Manage and model the portfolio, ensuring accurate data gathering and smooth operation of Exposure Management services.
  • Produce regular reports, assist with roll-ups, and facilitate internal and external reporting.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to ensure accurate data gathering and smooth operation of Exposure Management services.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as model validation and process automation.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in catastrophe modeling, preferably Verisk/AIR.
  • In-depth understanding of portfolio business and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and IT skills.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field or minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Experience:

  • More than 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a Lloyd's syndicate.
  • Proven track record in modeling portfolios for catastrophe scenarios.
