About the Role

As a Welding Equipment Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and service for our range of Fronius welding equipment. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair Fronius welding equipment, including inverters, torches, hose packs, and automated systems.
  • Provide expert technical support to customers via phone and email, resolving queries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Conduct service and calibration procedures on welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Perform safety tests and weld tests after repairs and servicing, guaranteeing compliance with industry standards.
  • Support the introduction of new products, systems, and processes into the market, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales and after-sales support, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities of Fronius welding equipment to potential customers.
  • Contribute to events such as trade fairs and seminars, representing Fronius and engaging with industry professionals.
  • Support stock control procedures, ensuring efficient inventory management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven technical experience in the support of electrical equipment.
  • Electrical engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word).
  • Basic knowledge of manual electrode, TIG, and MIG/MAG welding processes is highly advantageous.
  • Strong customer communication skills and a sales-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and knowledge transfer abilities.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional approach to clients.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • German language skills are desirable but not essential.
