We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Pharmacy Advisor. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide expert advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide robust pharmaceutical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals through direct contact and consultation.
- Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the maintenance of pharmacy professional standards within NHS 24.
- Engage with front-line staff to provide coaching and training opportunities, and establish mechanisms for effective feedback and continuous improvement.
- Vocational degree in pharmacy, such as MPharm or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Substantial experience of pharmaceutical practice, including working in multidisciplinary environments.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of community pharmacy.
- Proactive and able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks with competing deadlines.
NHS 24 offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a permanent contract on Band 7, £48,788 - £56,747 per annum (pro-rata if applicable). We also offer a range of supportive policies, including a Cycle to Work Scheme, bursary scheme, and Employee Assistance Programme Provider.
As an NHS Scotland employee, you will be entitled to 35 days annual leave (rising to 41) pro-rata, development opportunities, enhanced pay for public holidays, and enrolment into the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) pension scheme.
