**Job Title:** Security Officer - Site Protection Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team as a Site Protection Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors on site.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Meet and greet visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Prevent trespassers from entering the site at all times, maintaining a high level of security and vigilance.
- Prevent antisocial behavior by providing a security presence and patrolling the internal and external perimeters, recording patrol times as required.
- Identify any Health & Safety issues around the site and report them to the Line Manager, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Undertake regular patrols to monitor the cleanliness of the site, recording and reporting any spillages to the relevant contractors.
- Direct Cleaning staff to areas requiring attention, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- First point of contact for Police for any incidents, collaborating with local authorities to share intelligence and prevent future incidents.
- Preserve assets of clients and site Contractors, such as vehicles, tools, and machinery, ensuring their safety and security.
- Maintain a security log of all activities and incidents occurring during the shift, completing the Daily Occurrence Book during each shift.
- Serve as a principal source of information on rules and procedures governing security and Health and Safety operations on sites.
- Ensure safety regulation compliance at the sites, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, and establishing security patrol priorities to prevent crime.
- Take necessary action in the event of an emergency, in accordance with assignment instructions, and report all incidents to the Line Manager.
- Safeguard all site keys, managing and logging the issue and return of keys, and ensuring that keys are issued only with authorized validation.
- Ensure that Fire regulations are adhered to at all times, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Perform any other reasonable request made by the Line Manager, and any other duty as detailed by the Company.
**Requirements:**
- Must hold a valid frontline SIA Licence or be eligible to obtain one.
- Knowledge of working within the security industry.
- Experience of working within the security industry (preferable).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends, and sometimes at short notice, where required.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- First-rate communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Strong, reliable, dedicated individual who is able to be resilient and steadfast at all times.
