Maintenance Engineer

Scantec Personnel Limited is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth of our client.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heat treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Your strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical processes and equipment will be essential in diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular maintenance and inspections of heat treatment machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities on CMMS.
- Work with other teams to ensure efficient operation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- HND/HNC qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
