Embedded R&D Manager Job Description

At Yoh, we're seeking an experienced Embedded R&D Manager to lead and oversee a dynamic team of engineers focused on embedded development. This role encompasses projects involving application software, hardware modifications, and mechanical components such as metal and plastic enclosures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and enforce project management processes across all R&D projects, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to gather relevant information and present updates on project progress to the management team during tollgate reviews.
  • Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, starting from the pre-development phase and maintaining oversight throughout development, validation, and implementation.
  • Facilitate a seamless handover of projects to the implementation team, ensuring the successful transition of products into production.
  • Manage resource allocation efficiently, ensuring the team is well-prepared to meet current project deadlines and future roadmap developments.
  • Continuously monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to keep projects on track and meet business objectives.

As an Embedded R&D Manager at Yoh, you will be responsible for driving the development of related peripherals, including keypads and expanders, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of projects from initial concept through to production handover.
