The role of live-in care is profoundly fulfilling, offering you the chance to experience job satisfaction by making a significant impact on someone's life, enabling them to remain in their home. Within the Live-in Care team, you will foster meaningful relationships with clients at various life stages, each with unique care requirements.
Key Responsibilities of a Live-in Caregiver
- Providing assistance with personal care tasks
- Supporting meal-related activities, including preparation, cooking, and feeding
- Assisting with medication management through reminders
- Ensuring safe moving and handling practices
- Performing light household chores such as cleaning and laundry
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients on outings, including shopping trips and visits to scenic locations
- Supporting clients during appointments
- Monitoring and documenting clients' health and well-being
Required Qualifications
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year of prior experience in live-in care, domiciliary care, social care, or a healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written English
- A reliable and dedicated individual with a sincere passion for caring for others
- An empathetic, patient, and positive demeanor with a proactive approach to caregiving
- Ability to adapt to diverse living situations and environments
- Good physical stamina and fitness to handle the job's demands
- Willingness to seek guidance when necessary and adhere to instructions
Additional Information
What We Provide for Our Live-In Caregivers
As a Live-in Caregiver, you will receive three meals daily or an allowance from the client, a private room for your stay, and access to amenities such as a TV and WiFi.
Furthermore, we offer:
- Comprehensive and ongoing training and support.
- Competitive weekly pay rate of £12.50 per hour
- Time off between client placements
- Local client assignments
- Flexible work patterns (10-hour shifts with a minimum daily rest period of 2 hours)
- Options for flexible shifts, such as 1 week on/1 week off or 4 days on/4 days off

- Paid annual leave
