We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Engineer to join our team at Hastings Direct, a leading digital insurance provider in the UK market.

About the Role:

  • As a Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable and secure data platform to support our business growth.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and analytics capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain Snowflake databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to provide data insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices to continuously improve our data platform.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Snowflake engineering, administration, and development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable data platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications in Snowflake and Azure data are a plus.
