About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Safety Expert to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology (ADS&T) business unit, you will play a vital role in shaping our projects and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical analysis of designs and processes to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Lead key presentations and develop strategies to solve complex problems for our clients.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across related disciplines to drive innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, including the Defence Safety Authority suite.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation (UK and EU) and its application to land systems.
  • Proven record of managing safety and safety artefacts, including safety management plans, hazard logs, and safety case reports.
  • Experience in interrogation of data systems to assess currency, integrity, and associated risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation and presentation of reports to internal and external customers.
