We are seeking an experienced Director of Infrastructure Programs to join our Manchester Project Controls Team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading major programmes in the North West, leveraging your expertise in project controls to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver project controls across major programmes in the North West, ensuring accurate and consistent plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting.
- Lead the programme controls function for a programme, deploying available controls team resources to best effect.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
Other Key Responsibilities:
- Review new project proposals and monitor resource plans to ensure realistic delivery.
- Identify resourcing requirements and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
- Provide an efficient day-to-day service to Programme and Project Managers, reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment, and programme performance.
- Monitor data input by project teams and others to cost and performance systems, ensuring data standards are met.
- Manage the production of the Investment Plan and ensure compliance with the Investment Competence Framework.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
- Experience within the infrastructure sector, with a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in multiple discipline-specific software applications.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management principles.
