We're on a mission to build the bank of the future, and we need your help to make it happen. Our Consumer Lending team is looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our Data Optimisation team.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be working closely with our cross-functional team to transform data and build pipelines in different environments. You'll have the opportunity to work with BigQuery and other data warehousing architectures, and to develop your skills in advanced SQL, Python, and Java or Scala.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of big data and data warehousing architecture, as well as experience in Agile Methodology. You'll also need to have knowledge of commercial and retail banking, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines in BigQuery and other data warehousing architectures
  • Work closely with the business and product owners to understand data requirements and develop solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines
  • Develop and maintain data models and architectures to support business needs
  • Work with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of big data and data warehousing architecture
  • Experience in Agile Methodology
  • Knowledge of commercial and retail banking
  • Advanced SQL, Python, and Java or Scala skills
