Behaviour Management Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Management Specialist to join our team at a beautiful primary school in Burgess Hill. As a Behaviour Management Specialist, you will work closely with children to understand and address challenging behaviour, providing one-to-one and small group mentorship to promote positive social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and support the school's behaviour management policies.
- Work closely with children to understand and address challenging behaviour.
- Provide one-to-one and small group mentorship to promote positive social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to create tailored plans to improve behaviour.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the overall school environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Management Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and engage them in the learning process.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to addressing challenging behaviour.
- Familiarity with the UK educational system is advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
