The Best Connection Employment Group is actively looking for skilled LGV Class 1 / C+E Drivers to join our esteemed client network.

This position offers part-time yet reliable employment, requiring a commitment of at least three to four days each week.


Compensation:
  • £18.00 per hour
  • £23.75 for overtime (applicable for hours exceeding 8)

Work Schedule:
  • ADHOC assignments
  • Flexible start times
  • Available for both morning and evening shifts

Key Responsibilities of the LGV Class 1 Driver:
  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle to various destinations
  • Manage loading and unloading tasks utilizing roll cages
  • Conduct thorough pre and post-operation inspections of the vehicle, including checks on tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls
  • Document any safety concerns using standard reporting methods
  • Adhere to the designated delivery schedule and follow all operational directives accurately
  • Engage with dispatchers and other team members daily to ensure timely and professional task execution
  • Comply with all necessary safety protocols and procedures
  • Safely operate a pump truck

Qualifications for the LGV Class 1 Driver:
  • Ability to successfully complete a driving assessment
  • Possession of a valid Category C+E Licence
  • CPC certification
  • Digi Tacho card
  • Successful completion of DBS checks

The ideal candidate will hold a current and valid Category C+E Licence, along with a Digi Tacho and CPC card.
