Job Title: Class 1 Day Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for making multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security
  • Planning route on a day-to-day basis
  • Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone
  • Working closely with the network hubs
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations
  • Attending regular training sessions
Requirements:
  • Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
