We are seeking a talented Costs Lawyer/Draftsperson/Assistant to join our expanding Costs team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our lawyers and clients in the preparation and negotiation of costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing schedules and bills of costs, replies to points of dispute, and other documents required during the costs process
  • Negotiating with costs draftspersons and Defendants regarding the settlement of costs
  • Preparing and updating budgets of costs
  • Liaising with lawyers and costs team members to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Advising on likely levels of recovery of costs
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of legal costs and billing processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
