About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our dynamic team at Trafford & Stockport College Group. As a Trainer Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality apprenticeships and work-based training to local employers, providing on-programme support and assessment, and completing tri-partite progress review meetings with the employer and apprentice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver apprenticeships and work-based training to local employers
  • Provide on-programme support and assessment to learners
  • Complete tri-partite progress review meetings with the employer and apprentice
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of apprenticeship programs and training materials
Requirements
  • Occupational experience within the Plumbing and Gas sector
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating
  • In-date ACS qualifications for Domestic Gas
  • Maths and English at level 2
  • Assessor qualifications essential
  • Verifier qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using e-portfolio systems preferred
  • Access to own suitable transport for visiting clients across the Greater Manchester region
