**Job Summary**

SF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process hourly paid payroll and manage related control account reconciliations.
  • Be responsible for the fixed asset register and depreciation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • General ledger cashbook posting and bank reconciliation, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
  • Assist the Management Accountant with prepayments and accruals, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage the warranty claim reconciliation, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution.
  • Prepare hourly paid payroll together with related control account reconciliations.
  • Manage expenses and credit card functions, maintaining a high level of financial control.
  • Provide support to the purchase ledger clerk, including dealing with queries on problematic accounts and assisting in supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Provide occasional holiday cover for other team members, including sales and purchase ledger.
  • Assist in the implementation of new business systems and technology features across the finance function.
  • Provide support or lead on ad-hoc tasks and projects for the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SAGE 50 PAYROLL and other financial software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
