About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and chasing outstanding invoices, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and chase outstanding invoices to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including cash-flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure all payments are accurate and up-to-date
  • Resolve customer queries and disputes related to invoices and payments
  • Contribute to the team's strategic planning and forecasting, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Work closely with the sales team to implement credit control procedures and ensure seamless communication
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of the credit control process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including financial regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork
