About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and chasing outstanding invoices, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and chase outstanding invoices to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including cash-flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all payments are accurate and up-to-date
- Resolve customer queries and disputes related to invoices and payments
- Contribute to the team's strategic planning and forecasting, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Work closely with the sales team to implement credit control procedures and ensure seamless communication
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the credit control process, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including financial regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork
