American Family Care, Inc. is seeking a skilled Healthcare Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality diagnostic imaging services.

• Patient Care: Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate and clear manner.
• Diagnostic Imaging: Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures, practice ALARA radiation protection techniques, and process images for review by physicians and radiologists.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
• Supportive Role: Serve as a Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed, within established guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Medical Assistant Certification or registry, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification may be acceptable in some states.
